Oh My! [Video] Charlamagne Reveals His ‘Eggplant’ Disaster, Fans Praise His New Book 🍆
Charlamagne the God is usually the one dragging people on his popular “Donkey of the Day” radio segment. Now, he’s put himself in the hot seat and surprisingly, fans are praising the talk show personality for his honesty. According to BET, Charlamagne recently shared details about an embarrassing moment from his past. Charlamagne recently sat down for a radio interview with Angie Martinez where he opened up about his past struggles.
The ‘Eggplant’ Disaster:
For those who don’t know, Charlamagne released a new book last month titled, Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes To Those Who Create It. In the book, he shared some of his personal experiences that led to life lessons that helped to mold his life and career. Apparently, back then, Charlamagne had a habit of cheating on his ex-girlfriend. But, when she decided to get back at him things were a bit different for a number of reasons. Not only did she cheat, she revealed the other guy’s “eggplant” was quite different from Charlamagne’s.
“She was in college. She cheated with a guy,” he told Angie Martinez. “I don’t know if she was just trying to get back at me for all the times that I cheated on her, but when I asked her about the dude… she looked me dead in the eye and said, ‘I never seen no s**t like that in my life.'”
Needless to say, her words hit him in the gut and he was quite embarrassed. In fact, he admitted he’d pondered ways to fix his so-called “problem.” “I was traumatized,” he said. “In the back of the XXL, there [were] these pills called Magna RX and they were penis enlargement pills so I ordered them.”
Of course, Angie wanted to know the results. Were the enlargement pills worth the money? When asked if the pills worked, Charlamagne said, “I really don’t know, but I really don’t know what size I was before.”
Honesty Is the Best Policy:
Shortly after the interview, many fans took to social media to praise Charlamagne for his honesty. The Breakfast Club host has also gotten great reviews for his book.
