Timbaland may be doin’ lots of work behind the scenes these days but that doesn’t mean he isn’t still makin’ big money. In fact, the famed producer recently purchased a pricey new pad in Miami, FL. According to XXL magazine, Timbo dropped $4 million on his lavish new condo. Needless to say, the property is as beautiful as you could imagine with a breathtaking view and amazing amenities.

The Lavish Pad:

It has been reported that Timbo – Timothy Zachery “Tim” Mosley – will be residing in Edgewater’s 53-story Aria on the Bay building in South Beach. His new crib boasts “six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a pair of private elevators.” The condo has a spacious 4,700 square feet, with an additional 1,200 square foot terrace.” All of the building’s residents also have access to luxury community amenities which include “line pools, hot tubs, fire pits, a private spa and an indoor/outdoor bar,” according to the report. Although Timbo has had his share of personal challenges over the past couple years, it looks like things are finally starting to turn around for the Shock Value rapper.

Light After Darkness:

The latest reports about Timbaland’s new crib follow a series of reports where he revealed details about his addiction to Oxycontin. Initially, he was taking the pills to cope with nerve damage from a gunshot wound he’d suffered years ago. But things gradually took a turn for the worse. Following his divorce from his ex-wife, Timbo admitted things had gotten out of hand and his life had spiraled out of control, according to Page Six. He even admitted there was a time he almost died of an overdose. “I woke up trying to catch my breath, like I was underwater,” he recounted in a recent Rolling Stone interview. “But through that whole thing I saw life – I saw where I would be if I don’t change, and where I could be if I did…I thought about Michael Jackson. I didn’t want to be old and taking these pills.”

It looks like 2018 will be a much better year for the famed producer. Best of luck to Timbo!
