Jennifer Lopez Announces Collaboration With Cardi B On New Song “Dinero” Produced By DJ Khaled

Posted On : February 7, 2018

When J. Lo rocked out to “Bodak Yellow” at last month’s Calibash 2018 concert, Cardi B completely fanned-out calling it a “Bronx girl’s dream.” But what you may not have caught from that musical interlude is that J. Lo teased a clip of the upcoming song they collaborated on called “Dinero.” Produced by none other than DJ Khaled, it’s sure to be pure fire.

In a recent interview with Latina.com, Jenny From The Block confirmed that they are working together. The song is finished, but they have yet to work out a concept for the music video.

“I feel like you already know that I collaborated with Cardi B,” Lopez told Latina.com. “I do have a record coming out with her and it’s coming out soon. The name of the song is ‘Dinero.’ I don’t know what the video is going to be yet but we’ll see what we come up with.”

The rumors of the project started swirling in December after J. Lo’s boyfriend for the last year, Alex Rodriguez, posted an Instagram live video with clues that a joint project was in the works.

“Cardi’s just on that one part,” J. Lo said to DJ Khaled. “Do you think we should do some ad-libs with her?”

The hit-making super-producer responded, “Just tell her, ‘Are you good, and do you wanna put anything on this? ‘Cause we’re releasing it tomorrow.”

No official release date for “Dinero” has been announced, but the project seems to be a good look for both ladies. They met in November of last year for the very first time and Cardi B had a total fan-out moment. They were backstage at a charity benefit where she had already met Beyonce. Meeting J. Lo made Cardi B act admittedly starstruck.

“I just kept acting like a f*cking weirdo, but I think she understands,” Cardi B told The Cut.

Until the new single drops, fans can continue to enjoy Cardi B’s verses on Bruno Mars’ “Finesse” remix. J. Lo also released a new single dedicated to boyfriend A-Rod (as they just reached the 1-year mark) called “Us.” Check it out:
