New Episodes Of 50 Cent’s ‘Power’ Leaked Online, Guy Who Leaked It Shows His Face
On late Saturday nights, some Power fans are lucky enough to catch the latest episode of the series when it’s released on the STARZ app, but last night something a bit different happened. Apparently, someone leaked the last three episodes of season four, including the show’s season finale. Of course, it didn’t take long for the footage to begin circulating. Although most of the hour-long clips were a bit fuzzy, the footage was more than enough for fans to know exactly how it’ll all go down in the end. We won’t spoil it for the loyal Power fans, but based on the reviews, what has been leaked is mind-blowing. As expected, many fans who actually respect the production process are pissed but the guy who leaked the video may have incriminated himself.
Although fans initially thought 50 Cent or the network had something to do with the leak, apparently, the guy who leaked the video made one big mistake toward the end of the video. According to Torrent Freak, he actually showed his face at the end of the video. It has been reported that the person may have obtained the video through a STARZ press portal. But regardless of how the episodes were obtained – one thing’s for sure: they’ve leaked and they’re online. From the looks of it, there’s only one video circulating. The guy filming appears to be taping the video as it plays on an iPhone.
Coincidence Or Nah?:
So, was the leak all a coincidence or did someone intentionally let the cat out of the bag? According to the publication, there are a few aspects that raise questions about the leak. Unlike many other evaluation videos, this one is of very low quality. The reason could be how the guy captured the footage. It doesn’t appear to be a torrent file of some sort, but rather an uploaded video that can only be accessed from a certain point.
The guy who leaked the video also explained how he got the video. He claims he received the information from someone who works for STARZ. “This is like the special, this is only for the people that work at STARZ that watch this shit. My man sent me the whole log-in shit. I had to pay that n******r though,” he said.
The leaked video was reportedly accessed from STARZ’s press portal, mediaroom.starz.com. Although the site has been taken down, most likely due to the leak, the damage is already done. However, the guy didn’t stop there. He also went a step further and showed his face after the video.
The leak follows 50 Cent and Courtney Kemp’s disapproval of the network’s refusal to allow for two additional episodes in season four. Shortly after episode six aired, 50 took to social media to voice his frustration’s about the network’s lack of regard for the show’s production. Apparently, they requested two additional episodes in order to better explain certain scenarios but unfortunately, STARZ refused to order the extra episodes so the scenes seemed a bit rushed for time purposes.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Courtney Kemp further explained the production hurdles they faced while trying to condense the scenes. “Unfortunately, Starz would not give us the extra episode,” Kemp told the publication. “I asked them for 12 episodes for season 4 and they would not do it. So because they would not do it, we had to make it one episode.”
Although 50 Cent is known for voicing his opinion, he has yet to speak out about the Power leak. But it’s probably safe to say the rapper/actor will say something sooner or later.
